Kathryn Graf’s play THE SNAKE CAN recently enjoyed a sold-out run at The Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles. Starring Jane Kaczmarek and Gregory Harrison, THE SNAKE CAN was L.A. Times Critic’s Choice and L.A. Weekly’s Pick of the Week. One short and busy year ago, Ms. Graf’s play HERMETICALLY SEALED ran four months at the Skylight Theatre in L.A, garnering various awards and nominations, including Critics’Choice, L.A. Weekly Theater Awards, LADCC, Backstage Garland Award, MadTheatrics, and Don Shirley’s ‘Among the Year’s Best Plays.’ Her one-woman play SURVIVING DAVID launched her writing life (2100 Square Feet) (Outstanding Solo Show Award, NYC Fringe Festival, ‘05). Other plays: POOR PRETTY BIRDS (Philipstown Depot Theatre, NY). THE STIFF (finalist, 2010 Tennessee Williams One-Act Competition). She is the author of the children’s book ALWAYS MY DAD (Mom’s Choice Award, gold medal). Before writing, Kathryn worked as an actress on stage, screen and radio.
